What should I use for the blocks... I have applique kitties from CarrieAnne in '30's fabric & a complementary yardage piece for binding. Muslin seems boring...

Maybe a tone on tone, white or cream. Very light green, pink, blue also a possibility.

I've seen a repro fabric quilt done on off white or unbleached muslin. It seemed to fit that style very well

I am using Kona Snow for my 30's repro Dresden Plates. It looks very nice. I'm going for an "antique" quilt look.

I too LOVE solid white to go with my 30's repros! It allows the 30 prints to stand out on their own without any background noise!
