I have the expensive anti-fatgue mats in my kitchen, but bought the cheaper one from Costco for when I cut and iron in the sewing room. The cheaper one isn't as good but does help and it was 1/5th of the price.

The gel mats are wonderful, I found some at Lowes - they are somewhat seasonal and about $20.

thanks everyone. I checked Big Lots and were only at CHristmas - I never thought of Lowe's etc.

Costco has nice rubber mats and beveled at the edges so you won't trip on them. I also wear Nike free shoes that feel like standing on a cloud. I wear them just for LA.

thanks I was thinking of checking into some crocs but honestly I was born in florida and going barefoot just seems natual. I have never worn shoes in the house, maybe time to change that.
