Advice needed re teen quilt
 

A quilting friend just gave me a 1.5 yd. piece of fabric to use as backing. It is black with brown skeletons on it. Of course I see a Shadow Box quilt What colours would I use to make my shadows. Can't use black.

You need to choose a light and dark of the same color: dk red & pink, Light blue & dark blue. I think dk purple & lilac would be good. The light color is the background, and the dark color is the shadow.
