Advice please

I am making a quilt....this is the center. Do not have enough fabric to continue the attic window. I want to make some other blocks to go around and finish the quilt. What blocks do you think will "fit" in with the attic window.thanks Carol aka Reba

I have no suggestions, but I sure like what you have done so far! I am sure some of the more experienced quilters will have ideas, and I look forward to reading them.

I would use a border all around the center of whatever of the fabric you have left first. After that you could do whatever blocks you wanted (maybe Bento Box)? If you could find different deer scenes on green backing, big squares of that would look nice after the border. Great center!

I'd do a border around what you've got so far.
Then depending on how big you want it to be...... add something simple (not complicated) as I don't think you'd want to take away from the attic windows. Maybe using fabric that looks like woodlands or camo print.

Whatever you choose to do, let us know.

I'd do different borders. You could do like 3 or 4 different ones.

How about trees to see out the windows.

I would continue the framing of the windows on the top and right hand side before adding anything else.

Thanks for all the responses. I actually did continue the frame on the top and right side! I guess I took the picture before! I love the border and tree suggestions. I think I may try it. Will be on the lookout for more camo material. This quilt is for my 22 yr Grand-daughter. She loves hunting. Thank you all! Carol

I would just use borders, like something to make it look like the rest of a window frame. Then if you need more, an outer border that could look like wallpaper.
