I told a friend of mine that I would see what I can find out about this.

She said a few years ago she read or saw a flyer or something but she can't remember but it was about making and donating quilts and baby blankets to children that have Aids. Does anyone know of an organization that does this? If you do, I sure would like to know so that I can pass the information on to her. She crochets baby afghans and makes polar fleece blankets (she sews cute binding and embroiders on them) for a Hospital down in San Diego, California. As of this past Tuesday she was finishing up her 70th blanket/afghan for the NICU. And in just a few weeks her and her husband will be hand delivering them. She starts making them in the spring and delivers them the next spring and shes been doing this for about 5 years. Now she is really wanting to make some for children with AIDS. So you help is very appreciated. Thanks everyone in advance.

My son spent 3 1/2 months in the NICU and wore the homemade knitted hats. I still have one in his memory box. Nothing but homemade fits a 1 pound baby. Tell your friend I said thanks... her work is sooo appreciated.

Thanks Tonnie. I will pass this on to her. By chance do you have a phone number for this lady Anna Aram?

No, I don't have her phone number. Send her an email, and perhaps she will give it to you. Was it your intention to keep these projects in Oregon, or does it matter to you?

I do not know if she wants to keep them in Oregon or not. I will not see her until Tuesday but I will pass all the information to her. She will be excited to get this information. Thanks so much everyone.
