Aligning triangles

So I have 60 degree triangle blocks that are supposed to be sewn into columns, which will then be attached side by side. Are there any methods to make sure that they are being sewn straight in the column without curving to one side?

Don't know if this will work with your project but one method I have done is sew the strips together in straight rows THEN cut into the 60 degree strips. Certainly some waste but far easier than dealing with a bazillion bias edges.
