I placed my first order with Connecting Threads..(still waiting for my items to show up) and now they have a huge sale on the very items I bought.. my savings would have been $21.00. Does that just figure... Don't ya hate when that happens???

I hate that! It always happens to me at Coldwater Creek too!

I'd contact them and see if they'd refund the difference since I didn't have my order yet. Couldn't hurt to try and in an effort to keep a customer they might be more than willing to do it. They should any way.

I just saw a post on here about another online store that refunded the difference. Maybe they will, too.

I seem to have that luck all the time...I told my DH from now on...we suffer a week before we buy anything..he said he was not waiting that long for TP.. ha ha ha ..I said..I can get ya some leaves...

OMG I just noticed how I put the headline...ALL WAYS.. I guess this -25 below zero (windchills of -35 to -40)is worse on me then what I thought. Some are getting so much snow, and us..just the brrrrr cold. We only have about knee high snow in our front yard. Today would be an awesome day to stay home..and sew sew sew... but I have to leave for work in about 40 minutes.

I would also contact them, sometimes they will give you a refund of the savings. It couldn't hurt to try.

Please, please call them. I recently had a problem with CT they shipped the wrong fabric. Their customer service was OUTSTANDING. They shipped the right color no questions asked and I got to keep the wrong stuff. I bet you anything they will honor the sale price. Shoot the worse that can happen is they say no and may just lose a valuable future customer. But based on my experience with them... I think they will honor the sale.

Remember every Wed. Connecting Threads announces the sale of the week and puts new items on clearance. I always wait until Wed. before ordering what I have in my basket. This week there is a big clearance on kits and sampler packs. And everything I usually want is on sale at sometime. I just wait to order and buy what's the sale of the week.

That happens to me with quilting sales but most recently with my van. After 5 years, I paid it off last week, the title came on Monday and last night my transmission died on the way home from work! Was hoping to go a couple of years without any kind of payment. Just think of the fabric all those payments could get me.

I listened to everyone on here and called them. They are giving me a credit minus shipping costs. Thank you all..they were excellent to work with.

OMG if we had that here no one would go to work ! I live in the Houston area.LOL
