I made one of these, and the pattern truly is not hard, once you see how it goes together... |
Just to share my findings...
While searching for more patterns for the Moda Layer Cake fabric, I found two really nice tutorials. This little lady is not quite as energized as Jenny, but she is good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=...ture=endscreen This was a link on the side bar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyFe0...ture=endscreen There was an ad for a PDF version of this, but I could not locate it. Any suggestions? |
How about pinwheels .

A friend sent a message about a "quilt shop closing due to owner's retirement." Everything is on sale.
http://www.dssewingcenters.com/ I think this was not a recent ad, so it might all be gone by now. Would this be another UFO in the making or possibly a way to finish one after all? And then I keep remembering what my mother used to quote to me: "He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls" (Prov. 25:28). |

Willferg, that is a beautiful and colorful quilt! Can't wait to see what you decide on doing Grammer! |
There are several versions of the Pinwheel--one tutorial that I remember on MSQC videos was using charm packs (5" squares) and my layer cakes can be cut into 5" squares. I could do that if I had a contrasting fabric for the background. I don't have anything that goes with citrus flavors--not even black or white. Groan!
