I saw a collection in the Hancocks of Paducah catalog last fall that looked very much like Blue Willow. I don't remember what the collection was called though.

A single color print fabric in a style similar to the willowware, is calle 'toile' (pronounced twoll).
If you google toile quilting cotton there are lots of hits. Don't know if you are are going to actually find willows, but might find something similar. |
i found this http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/308754
|
I saw some in a Hancocks of Paducah catalog also...last fall or winter.
|
You sound a lot like me - I decide I want a specific pattern or design then have to figure out if someone actually makes it!
|
Try a place called spoon flower .

Here's an interesting fabric, I know it's not the blue willow you are looking for but, maybe could be used some how.

Do you have an embroidery machine? Emblibrary.com has some great blue delft designs that I used for the centers in blue and white Dresden plates.
|
SpoonFlower was lovely but at $18 a yard, I'd pass. But I know exactly what you mean, my DIL loves Blue Willow!
|
There are several places via internet where you can get this fabric. Just type in Blue Willow Toile fabric and you get lots of sites.
|
I bought fabric with blue willow plates on it at my local JoAnn's not long ago. I sent it to a friend in Hawaii who collects Blue Willow plates. If you have a JoAnn's nearby, go and take a look.

Did ya happen to notice the price per yard of the Blue Willow.....$18/yard.

The Delft designs are not the Blue Willow pattern. Blue Willow has chinese referenced designs, pagodas and chinese boats, and Delft have Dutch influenced designs, hence the windmills.
There is definitely a difference when you look closely at the pattern. Emblibrary has about 20 Blue Willow designs that can be purchased separately and then combined on a block, or she has a couple of patterns that look like they are straight off of a dinner plate. |
