Amara quilter and QBOT
 

Thinking of upgrading my Tin Lizzie to an Amara. Does anyone know if I can use the Qbot on the Amara. Have you done this. The machine will cost almost a new car, and the automated system nearly the same price, so would like to re-use the Qbot (it's not the latest version 3) I have googled but only found Ver 3 is compatible with the 15" Moxie.

I don’t think you can, Call Handiquilter and they will give you the best answer. When I sold my Fusion to upgrade my machine to another HQ machine, I was informed that my robotics would not be compatible with any new machine. Robotics are pricy, don’t be afraid of a used set up, you get more bang for your buck!

Hello and happy spring from across the way, my dear friend! It sure sounds exciting to consider upgrading your Tin Lizzie to an Amara. Of course, I do not have the answer to your question but I did take a full day class using the Amara and it was simple to operate, not too big and produced nice results. I noticed there are forums and blogs on both the QBOT and HandiQuilter websites and I think there's a rather active facebook page for the HandiQuilter machines that would probably be very helpful!
