American Quilting & Patchwork - Back Issues?

Recently I saw a pattern that I would dearly like to make from this magazine's December 2000 issue.
I know, that's pretty much ancient history!!!

Have checked their website, and contacted them, to no avail.
Have googled every combo I can think, with no luck.
It's not found on issuu dot com

Any suggestions? Oh Wise Ones!!!! :)

Please? and Thanks!

Sometimes you can find a back issue of the magazines on ebay.

Hurry they have a copy on ebay right now.

Sometimes I've contacted the designer and found that they've published the pattern after their contract with the magazine has expired.

I found this site, that lists the pattern contents, as well as contributors. Maybe finding the name of the pattern/maker can help the search. https://www.allpeoplequilt.com/sites...QINDEX2000.pdf Can you tell us any more about the picture? Colours, pieced or applique, size?

Thank You Everyone for your suggestions!

About eBay ... I had checked the Canadian site, with no luck. Totally hesitant in buying stateside as the shipping on top of the basic cost is pretty hefty. Plus the risks of added fees crossing the border.

EasyPeezy ... did you find any listed on eBay Canada?

Peckish ... I had no idea of the designer til GingerK's find!

GingerK ... Thanks for nudging me. I had seen those index pages, but did not notice the listing of designers. Good find!

For those wondering what it is that I am ISO .....
Gretchen's Little Corner: Other Hand Work (gretchenslittlecorner.blogspot.com)
Gretchen has a photo of her Red Radiance.
In particular, it's the embroidery patterns that I want.
The rest I could figure out, easy enough.

The designers of the pattern are ...
Cindy (Taylor) Oates, Betty Alderman and Laurene Sinema.

More google hunting to do!

And if anyone should have any further suggestions ... they will be most welcome!

Betty Alderman has passed. She was well known for her redwork embroidery. Her daughter Betsy Alderman Lewis has continued her mother's legacy. Here's a link to her website. Maybe she can offer some help. Happy hunting!

Yippeeeeeeeeeee!!! The pattern has been found.
Yes, you can consider me one happy person!! :)

Meanwhile I have been dreaming of which fabrics and floss to choose.
Just wish I had a clue as to how much floss is needed .... no clue in the pattern!
