Does anyone have a pattern for an Amish Lone Star Table Center???

You could make any size variation of a table topper from this:

Or, there are several books from Amazon.com: simply search Amish quilt patterns.

Okay, I'm probably ready to go to bed, it's well past 10:PM here,
but I looked at this one and it said to cut all the strips 2 and 1/4 inches wide. Now if both sides were sewed, that would make it wind up less wide than the 2 inches that I THINK it's supposed to wind up as.

Or am I wrong here? I should go to bed instead of read all the letters here, but they are so interesting!!

You are welcome. One site with the Amish Quilts that can be purchased: http://www.amishquilter.com/amish-qu...85.html?page=2 They do show a couple lone stars.

Here is another site with pattern for the Amish Star:

I think I should put a picture up....the picture is of the table center that was a gift to my daughter-in-law....there is a circle center with "arms" radiating out. Each "arm" in one piece. The fabric used looks like there is more piecing. Thanks for all the answers I have gotten already....
