Angela Walters FMQ templates

Was watching some Angela Walters tutorials and saw that she has some FMQ templates. Just wondering if anyone has used them and if you like them? Are they easy to get used to?

I just got the "shorty". I haven't had a lot of time to play with it. (I'm waiting for my ruler foot to arrive). I did carefully try it out though with just my fmq foot and like it :) Its a good size for your hand. I think it will be a good introduction for me to ruler quilting.

They are on my wish list. I am waiting to hear from others about the pros and cons. Will follow this thread.

I just saw these at a local quilt shop I think....

I have Archie and Squiggy. I use Archie a lot and haven’t used Squiggy as much. I find them good for sit down (I have a sweet 16) as they are fairly small and easy to handle.
I have other rulers that do what the other two do, so I didn’t get them.

I'm interested in them but wondering if they are too thick to work with my Pfaff with the IDT in the back. Anyone know the answer?

I have Squiggy and played with it a bit on a small muslin sandwich. I need more practice before using it on a real quilt.

I am really curious about these. Actually I am curious about ruler quilting on a DSM. I plan take a class soon.

I have a Pfaff with IDT and right now, without checking the manual, I don't think you use the IDT when FMQ being used. It's quite early in the morning and I only half awake, so may be wrong.

When you do ruler quilting, do you drop the feed dogs as in free motion or do you leave them raised? Just wondering.
