I love doing PP and plan to do more......but....would someone explain one thing to me. I have only used regular paper that tear off easily after all the stitching...please tell me what is the freezer-paper paper piecing.

I was looking at a pattern and it said that the pattern came on printed freezer paper. Isn't that rather heavy?

Thanks for any answers.........

Freezer paper piecing is a little different. You don't sew thru the paper, you fold it back and sew along the edge. The big advantage is there's no paper to tear off the block when you're done. It's also probably a technique you'd need to see to get it.

I've heard about this technique, but never tried it. I might enjoy paper piecing a little more if I didn't have to tear out the paper afterwards!

Sounds very interesting but as you said......probably would be better off watching someone before trying it.

Thanks for the info.
