another quilt top done!
 

My big machine is in the shop (insert big crocodile tears here). Nothing major, but it was making a whining noise ... eek!

At least I have my baby machine!

So, I have two quilt tops done ... here's the second one (the first one is my irish chain variation).

Ignore the black flower stencils ... I thought I would like it, and don't so I didn't continue with it!

If you have a different idea about something, please feel free to comment ... I can always change it before I sew it!

I have two of Judi Madsen's quilting books, so the blocks in the quilt will be heavily quilted. I will also be using two layers of batting so that everything really pops (or is supposed to ... we'll see!)

Pretty top. Good job on drawing out your quilting. What do you use to draw out your design? Is it the Crayola washables?

That is going to be very striking. I think your drawn quilting designs are lovely. I agree, the black flowers don't fit. I also like the Crayola markers. I will be anxious to see your quilt again when you finish.

That is gorgeous! You do terrific work.

Put some butterflies in the border quilting. That will help tie the border in with the center of the quilt.

The edge of the quilt where you have not drawn in the feathers would look real cute with butterflies (instead of the feathers) flying up the edge. Just an idea.
