Today at Sears, you can buy a Craftsman anti-fatique floor mat, 30" x 60" for 24.99. Normal price is $40. They come in red and black. But I have a prediction that once a bunch of quilters start buying them for their sewing rooms, they will come in every color and be printed with quilting square designs and cost about $60.

I envision them placed below every quilters' cutting table and ironing board!

Give a hint to Santa. :)

I bought something similar at Big Lots a couple years ago for $12.00 for 6 squares (don't remember what size) and they are GREAT! I have ceramic tile floors and they save the feet and back sooooo much. You can change the layout of these very easily because they lock together.

Is this like the gel mats? I got one a couple of weeks ago and it is wonderful.

Just what I need for my aching feet. Thanks for the info.

We had sticky mats at work in the entance of the bathroom. All the dirt from the factory floor on the bottom of our shoes stuck to the mat. would be great for my sewing room. Always getting thread on my shoes an socks and depositing it in other places of the house.

They definitely come in handy don't they?

Just made me remember my Great Grandmother. She had some kind of soft, flexi kid of rubber mat in front of her kitchen sink when I was a kid. It was so comfortable. Thanks for stirring my memory. :-)

One of my Great Grandmothers had those too. I don't really remember what color they were but I remember they had beveled edges.
