Another Spicy Spiral Question ...

I'm assuming that using a jelly roll for this pattern would work fine (using all the same width strips instead of different widths as the pattern calls for). Has anyone done this? I'm sure the size would change, but I want one that's smaller anyway.

Thanks for your responses.

I've never tried it, maybe the only thing different is there would be no "focal" fabric. If you already have the strips in the colours you want, try it and if you don't like it, you can always make another one. They are kind of addictive once you make one.

I've seen it use with a jelly roll. All you are doing is moving your wedge to make the spiral.

I did one with a jelly roll, worked ok.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to give it a try.

I have never done one but you should be able to in a spiral design use the same size because it is consistent.
