Nice change in posts,

because you are then looking for specific information for a specific reason, Otherwise I tend to give advice whether it is asked for or not.

You loose about 4" in any rail system, I have talked to several dealers and most of the rails and set ups are the similar, so the 26 should have 22" of usable space. (depending on the size of quilt when it is rolled in the top bar near the end it may shorten a bit more)

I find the boards expensive for how often I use them, The design is usually not quiet the right size for what I want it for, So to use them I would need to custom my blocks and top to the boards, and that just isn't going to happen.

Most people would want to maximize the space they have, and there are so many different size machines, I would look for at least a 10" design

A common trait on quilting boards

The options are 24x24, 36x36, or 30x48. While I suspect most people wouldn't want 48 inch long boards... for my own work it might work out well. I have a couple of weeks to figure it out.

Thanks,
tim

There is direct, and then there is direct, there is a fine line before considered being rude. I try not crossing the line myself but to each their own.

If we know why it is easier to figure out what kind of answer you are looking for. I don't know you personally so left guessing.

storage for a lot of people would be an issue with boards that large. if you have the set up to accomidate them I would go as big as you can.

I haven't used the boards that came with my Hinterberg Stretch that much. I have a laser that uses AA batteries (rechargable) That does a good job on the pantos. What boards do you have that have the two wreath sizes? I would be tempted to use that!
