Many have asked how I got the stitch count for my machine (4,474,000+).I phoned my Bernina repairman today to ask exactly "where is the counter?" He responded by saying, "In some models it can be accessed from the screen, in others it's an internal item." He also said, "it is a tricky formula to open the counter in the computer. It requires holding down certain keys while pressing others. If the wrong key sequence is executed, shame on you because the functions can be changed and difficult, if not impossible to correct". That's enough for me. I don't even want to know how to access it. I'll just check my count whenever I take it in for repair.

Guess I will find out Sat! I'm taking my 440QE in for a possible trade in, depending on what he offers. My machine is not even a yr old yet, won't be a yr old until April 24th. We bought it at the Paducah quilt show. I've basically done nothing but embroidery on this machine & want to up grade. Wish me luck!
