Antique quilt interest
 

I was wondering if there was a possibility to add a new thread...about quilt history or antique quilts..I was thinking it would be interesting to see pics of members old,antique quilts, postings of auctions for these or sites where one could go to purchase these etc. if not..does anyone know of a website that might be accessible for those of us who have an interest in this area?

I bought this antique top from my Grandmother's aunt (who was still alive in her late 90s). My Aunt Maude, half sister to my Grandmother had her quilting group hand quilt it for me. It will eventually be sent back to the museum in the small Kansas town where they all grew up. I think it is a Bethlehem Star but I could be wrong.

You can start a thread yourself for members to post their pictures to and share information about antique/vintage quilts. If you meant a new forum, there are no plans to add to the current forums. If you meant a category in Albums for Vintage quilts, you can PM http://www.quiltingboard.com/members...ac-u17931.html to ask for a new album to be added to the gallery... but there is no discussion within the gallery, it's just pictures. You can, in fact, use this thread as your Vintage quilts thread.
