Hello fellow quilters. I am fairly new to this board, but I have been working on this T-Shirt quilt for what feels like forever :lol: I am now stuck on how to do the quilting. It is front and back because there were SO MANY T-Shirts! (In the best way ever) And I am unable to Stitch in the ditch because of the batting I chose. (because of the weight of all of the fabric) Thank you for your experience and advice!

Overall quilting would be the answer and not too dense.

That's cool! I wouldn't know about the quilting but it sure is nice!

you could use your walking foot and just do curved stitching lines. just by moving the quilt to the left and then right while slowly stitching. very easy and looks nice too. sort of line connected S's.

There's a gal on Etsy that does these quilts. She did one for my coworker and it turned out fabulous. I bet you could go into her site and ask her how she quilts hers and she would be happy to give you advice.

you could just tie it if the batting you chose is one that is recommended for tying. or a large, easy curvy all over pattern would work for quilting. I love t-shirt quilts! great job :thumbup:

tying t-shirt quilts is very hard, especially if you will have 2 layers, I have done quite a few and do meandering/stipple or a loose pattern on my longarm.
