Here is mine. Still need to put a border on the quilt. It was a pattern from a magazine.

I have most of my fabric for a "All Wrapped Up" quilt. It's on the list, couple of things in front of it.

Not yet but working on scrap buster place mats. So I did drag out my Christmas scraps. A little diversion from the quilt I'm working on!

Made this quilt for my sister-in-law last year for Christmas. It was made from a thread here on QB called Eliabrat's Medallion Quilt or something like that. We did a different row each month until it was as big as you wanted. I chose to do Christmas. Sorry the pic didn't turn out bigger.

This one was a mystery quilt from several years ago -- I enlarged it from a throw size to queen size, doubled the borders and twisted the blocks. It's one of my favorites.

Quiltingshe, now that is what I call a Christmas Quilt! :) Love it!

mmeblue 07-18-2015 05:27 AM

I made this a few years ago - it's an Advent quilt with a bunch of pockets. We put candies in the pockets and move a little stuffed mouse each day.

I found the pattern here.

(And my 3-year-old just saw me making this post and asked, "When are we going to do the mouse in the pockets again?" LOL!)

I just finished one Christmas Quilt Metro Rings by Sew Knd of Wonderful using Moda's Holly's Tree Farm and have another top completed but not quilted in the same pattern, but using Moda's French General Joyeux Noel. Here's the finished Holly's Tree Farm:

I have been working on mine for about 8-9 years. Am not even 1/2 done. The whole quilt is cross stitching with shading and outlining and then it is hand quilted. I am going to be 77 two months from tomorrow - Anyone want to wager when I will get it done????? Edie

PS no picture! It is a Herrschner's kit~~~~~~~~!

Quilting she - Your Christmas quilt is so cute - I love it, and you did a beautiful job of applique. It reminded me of a picture we received in e-mail from a friend of ours recently. It was a snowman standing on the edge of a highway with a sign that said, "Florida, please."

fmhall2 07-18-2015 03:15 PM

donnajean -that is very nice. I like it, even though I don't normally care for purple - but yours is very pretty.

Could you tell me where the pattern came from, please? My children live in the mtns. and this would be a wonderful Christmas quilt or wall hanging. Thank you.

Some great looking quilts shown....but with it being 92 today, I just can't get into Christmas quilts right now!

This pattern is from Connecting Threads. You quilt the strips as you go and then applique the large tree shape.

copycat 07-19-2015 01:30 PM

Here is the pattern info for the quilt picture I posed for the quilt as you go Christmas quilt.

Joy! Jolly! Merry! Quilt as you Go Lap Quilt

My Daughter chose this pattern and fabric for this Christmas Quilt which will be hers. I ordered the Pattern from Connecting Threads and it is called "Sharing my Joy #199 from Suzn Quilts by Susan Marth." I like the size of 42" x 70". The Quilt as you go method made this project faster to complete. The pattern also includes instructions for place mats and a table runner.

Latrinka 07-19-2015 02:12 PM

Don't have any to show, have made some Christmas placemats but they are packed with Christmas decorations, and it is toooo hot in the shed to go dig em out! LOL! Everyone's quilts, wallhangings, tree skirts, etc. are all very beautiful!
