I'm not entirely sure this is the right place to post this message, but I was wondering if there are any EQ6 users here on the forum. If so, it would be interesting to get a round robin going, and post screenshots of the results here. :-)

I have EQ5 and love it.

a round robin of a design? pass the file around?

Spudgrandma 11-02-2008 06:17 PM

I have EQ6 but cannot really say I use it. One of these days I'm going to sit down and figure it out. I've lost one of my loads and have not even used the program yet...

That's exactly it. Everyone starts out with the same center block, and it gets passed around as many times as there are members so everyone has a chance to add on a border. :)

patricej 11-03-2008 02:54 AM

i can do that. :P

I have EQ5 and am just now learning how to use it. I would love to see what you all do with your EQ6 RR...it will be fun to watch you.

Paganquilter 11-03-2008 06:42 AM

question is, where would the call for a RR be best placed in the forum? And are there enough people who would be interested to make this work?

sewnsewer2 11-03-2008 07:44 AM

How do you do a RR?

Do you make the block, mail it to someone and then they add to it, and mail it to someone else? I never did understand this process.

WesternWilson 11-03-2008 01:08 PM

I would love to do that! Count me in.

Missi 11-03-2008 03:16 PM

I got EQ 6 for Christmas last year and have maybe used it 5 times. I need to learn and want to learn. This would give me an excuse and I would have help. Great idea - count me in!

Paganquilter 11-04-2008 08:16 AM

Okay, so that's three who are interested? I'll be watching this until Saturday, so the group doesn't get too large. It'll be my first attempt at hosting a RR, so keeping to the KISS principle is probably a good idea. :)

Interested in RR

I have EQ6 and trying to learn how to use it. This might be a good way to learn some new things. I am going to be up in Oregon until Sunday, closing up my mother's apartment, she passed Oct. 11th and I am trusteee of her Trust so kind of busy the next few weeks. Maybe I will get in the second RR if there is one.

I'm not an EQ6 user but I may be now that I have seen your quilt. It's beautiful and I find that pics don't usually do them justice.

I too have EQ6, but not very fluent in it yet. I'm not even sure how to extract files to post here of the tutorials I am doing. I would be fun though if I knew more about my software. I am hoping after Christmas to make myself sit down to it and learn to use it more! Perhaps when I am more knowledgable in it I will take on a round robin.

I just purchased EQ6. I have finished lesson 1 and will do lesson 2 this week.
