Meyer, I have done the same thing, liked a quilt made up in a shop, buy the fabric and then forget what the example looked like. If only I could remember to take picture. Oh, well maybe I will remember next time.....

Cute animal panel...can't wait to see what you decide to do.

How about using the blocks as the center of a star? This was a Missouri Star Quilt Co pattern. If you want, I can go find the name...I printed it out. It would be easy enough to resize to fit your blocks.

You could give the shop a call, perhaps they would be kind enough to take a pic and e-mail it or send in a text so you could be reminded. Since you bought the fabric from them, I am sure they wouldn't mind.

do you like art quilts? I'd piece a grass green and sky blue back ground, fussy cut the animals and some tree fabric to applique over the background. layer some trees over the background, then animals and and more fussy cut trees so it looks like the animals are in the woods/forest.

I would be tempted to cut the individual pictures apart and strip them with the fabric you have to match. That panel is adorable and I am sure whatever you do will turn out lovely. Please post a photo when it's done.
