You could sew them on placemats for the utensils. Make a sewing room equipment caddy for the back of the door (kind of like the hanging shoe caddy) Sew pockets to a strip of fabric for your TV remotes (strip tucks into the cushion and hangs over the arm) Dress some pockets up with ribbon to use for Chhristmas gift card holders on the tree. Add a little handle for cell pnone or Ipad pocket. Love the pocket idea with the fabric inside!

I sew back jeans pockets on sweat shirts for DH to wear. He has to have a pocket on his clothes or he is lost - kind of geeky. Then DSIL saw the shirt with the pocket and I had to make a couple for him too.

You could use them as almost completely precut squares for a rag quilt!
