Any name brand Cotton Flannel sheets you like to use for backing?

I have been searching for cotton flannel sheets that could be used for backing. I have had no luck so far.

I assume 6oz or 190gm is a suitable weight?

Was wondering if anybody has come across any name brands and /or where they could be purchased?
Thanks for any guidance or info. you could suggest!

I don't know the weight but LL Bean sheets are great quality. I've had them for years now. No wear or pilling.

What about the wide flannel backing fabric? More economical than sheets- especially the LL Bean's.

Yes I just find a decent price on sheets!

I was wondering if anybody has purchased flannel from fabric direct. It is only 44" wide but price is good, just not sure about quality.

LTD commodities has a internet site. I know they sell flannel sheets. I have never bought any from them. I have bought their fleece sheets and have been very happy with them. I'm not sure if "quilted twins" ( online) has flannel backing widths or just reg with flannel. You might try there. They sell wide widths of cotton baking.

I've used Ralph Lauren flannel sheets for backing. I got them off Amazon.

My old sheets from Sears lasted for years. My new ones from Bed, Bath and Beyond are doing well, but I don't know the brand. Watch out for microfiber - some of those look like cotton, but nothing I'd want.

I love these from Amazon. Don't buy them now.. just wait for them to go on sale :)
