Nope. I've been lurking for several months and have seldom posted, only 3-4 times. I'm proud of the quilts I make but don't have the imagination and patience of these ladies. They fall somewhere between beautiful and utilitarian. Still trying to get the nerve to FMQ.

Wall Warmer, and all of you other timid posters. You got this far, now go the rest of the way. Here is a step by step of what you want to know about posting your questions or photos.

On the very top of this page, there is a menu. Click on home. That will provide you with a list of the major categories and a brief explanation of what they are. Click on any one of them to be overwhelmed with information. The posting info I've provided may look like a lot of steps, only because I tried to be concise. It's really easy. One post and you'll be on a roll.

1. To post a picture or ask a question, click on Create New Topic.
2. From there select the area in which you want your post to show up. Choices will be Main, Pictures, Recipes, Swaps, etc. Select the most appropriate for your topic. Be certain to read the Terms of Use, (which can be opened from the BOTTOM of the page) so that you are posting things which are suitable for the board.
3. Click Continue
4. Add a catchy Title
5. Type in your post/message
If there is no attachment (photo) . . .
6. Click Send and wait for the message to post.
7. If you don't like what you see, use the edit feature to make the corrections.
8. Close the page, or use your back button. Do not click a second time, don't bother with a preview.
9. If you are attaching a photo, know where your photo is located, (picture file, desktop, camera, etc.)
10. After you have entered your message, but before you hit the send button, add your attachment. That is located on the same page – under File Attachments:
11. Click on Choose File. You will be taken to your computer files, where you will select the photo you want to attach.
12. Click on that photo. The No file chosen will change to the file you have selected. If this is correct . . .
13. Write a caption in the space provided on the left.
(There are additional instructions under that section on how to do, and formats to use. Note: for a simple post, most of us do not need to click the Download option. This creates a huge file which will be slow to load.
14. After attaching your photos click on (6.) send, and follow the steps 7 & 8.

OK you lurkers – show your stuff!

Okay I was trying to do it here but I need to go to create a new topic, here goes nothing! By the way thanks for all the support!

If we waited until we had the "perfect" quilt most of us might not ever get on board. We are all proud of what we accomplish, new or old, so please post pictures!

Every quilt is beautiful because it was made with love. It's so much fun looking at what everyone does.

Oh yes, please post something. I have been quilting for several years now and I am amazed at the photos I see on here that are just unbelievable - I mean their workmanship is sooo much greater than mine. I feel like a beginner after looking at their work. But you know, this is a fun place and we are all here to learn - so be proud of what you do right now.
