Wow - I posted pictures right away. There is so much great talent on this board. All helpful. You should take advantage.

C'mon - we want to see.

No you are not alone, I have yet to take pics of my work and post them. I know they are not nearly as gorgeous as some I see on here.

Hey Kayaker! Welcome to the board. We now know you're out here. Hey, Try the doll quilt swap next month. It's a great place to try out new techniques, new ideas etc.

All of ours look great in pictures but we all make boo boos sometimes. (And if we can, we tell each other the best way to hide it - really, we do.) Just jump right in. We're friendly and would love to have you. You have friends here if you couldn't already tell. :)

I'd embarrass myself if I even attempted to quilt, if even a wallhanging.

Luv2so,
Maybe you should try to do something simple first. Lots of times groups are more of bragging dens than helpful places to learn. This board is not the case. If you know how to operate your sewing machine - you are more than half way there. You just need something simple to start with. Perhaps try a "rag quilt" they are the best, easiest to learn to on. There are many people here willing to help you learn and several that are willing to adopt a newbie to quilting. You may get several who are anxious to take your hand and walk you through step by step. Believe me you can make a quilt and you owe it to yourself to do it...

Please feel brave enough to post pictures. Everyone here is really helpful if we run into questions. We all have individual tastes and even if we don't all get the same number of replies, I have found it may not be because they (we) don't like it, it may be just because they (we) haven't seen it yet.
