Thank you! |
my friends step mom is a quilter, who lives in Gettysburg, let me see if I can ask my friend to get some names and addy's for you. It may take a few days.

Thanks, I appreciate any help. I am lucky to have multiple quilt shops where I live in Central Ohio and thought it might be fun to check out a different quilt shop. Our young kids will be with us so it will not be too leisurely of a tour through a quilt shop.

Not sure but I don't think it's all that far from Lancaster??? We were through there last year buy wrong day/time. Might want to mapquest Gettysburgh to Lancaster.

Here are some quilt shops in/near Gettysburg- which I replied to you about last night. my friend's dad lives in Gettysburg and his wife is a quilter.
****** There is one fabric/quilting shop in Gettysburg called Needle & Thread. It is on route 116 (2215 Fairfield Road) about 3 miles out of G'burg going toward Fairfield. The next closest place that I know of is in Chambersburg called Sew 'n Place at 428 Gateway Ave. (Its over by Giant and Target). There are also some shops in Hagerstown if that's not too far. Traditions at the White Swan,16525 National Pike, Hagerstown and Wilson's 13516 Marsh Pike, Hagerstown. Hope that helps. I think Hagerstown is in MD. |
There is also 2 other quilt shops in Frederick. One is Sistos and the other one is downtown Frederick. The name of the second shop escapes me.

Lancaster is about an hour and 15 minutes from Gburg. It is well worth the trip to check out all the shops. Try googling...quilt shops or fabric shops - Lancaster County PA.

Needle and Thread is a really nice place. She has lots of fabrics other than quilt fabrics. She caters to the reenactors so she has a lot of wool. She carries regular fabrics for garment sewing too.
