Summitbay, thank you!!! I saw that fabric, it's in the right family but not the one I'm looking for. I need the fabric with the light background and teeny-tiny dots only.

Have you tried posting a picture on the fb groups like Quilters Classifieds? Other quilters recognize fabric by the look rather than the name sometimes.

Good idea, I haven't tried that, but will. Thanks!

Sent you a PM - don't know if this helps but it's a start
i will also ask at my Guild meeting tonight - never know if someone has some.

I received your pm and did see that fabric by that seller. It's the right fabric but they are located in Australia. I'd rather stay in the US, I never know how shipping is or what other costs are involved or how easy it is to correct a problem should one come up. Thanks!

Since you have already posted with missingfabrics.com you are on the right track. That is where I would have sent you to start with. It is the best place I know. I was just looking at Marshalls dry goods too. They look like they too would be a great place to try. Best of luck trying to find what you are looking for

Hopefully you are able to order from that shop in New Jersey. I've been let down a time or two by websites that aren't maintained, and it turned out the fabric wasn't available after all. If this turns out to be the case with your Haiku fabric, my suggestion is to find out who the designer is and contact her (him?). I've been fortunate enough to have procured fabric directly from the designer twice!

It would help if you could post a picture of the piece of fabric that you do have....sometimes we recognize patterns faster than names.

Here is the fabric I'm looking for. I hope I did this right. Still haven't heard from Sew Jersey quilt shop so I don't know if they have the fabric or not. I did notice that their shipping charges are $14.00. Do you think that's high? It more than doubles the cost of a yard. Seems I usually pay about $4.00-$6.00.

If you take a look at the minimum that the post office (and other shipping modes) charge, $14 is not unreasonable at all. If others are charging less, they are "eating" some of the cost of shipping. A small shop wouldn't be able to do that for long and stay in business. A place like MSQco has it factored into their fabric pricing (and likely has negotiated rates that are lower than public rates for shipping since they do so much shipping volume).
