My Aunt has asked me to make her grandson a quilt. He is one year old. She wants it to be animal themed like giraffe, monkey, lion, etc. Do any of you have any pattern suggestions?

Thanks so much!

I would do something simple. Especially if you get really cute fabric. Maybe something like a giant 9p that is made of smaller 9p's or something like that. if you find a couple of really cute animal prints and coordinate them with some tonal s or solids that would make it really sweet and simple to make and the mom wont be afraid that he would ruin it. hope this helps

Warm Wishes would be good. The larger square is about 5 or 6 inches, I think.

If you can do applique, you can go to coloring pages get the animals you want and do a quilt that way  Or get fabric with the animals on it and do a 9 patch...

Warm Wishes is also nice and you can use a focus block with the animals

I SPY or Snowball blocks would be great to be able to see the animals.
