Anybody try Madeira thread from Nancy's Notions?

I love Superior's Masterpiece for my piecing and bobbins.I want something a little thicker for quilting, and all cotton. Nancy's has cotton thread in solid colors in 30, 40, and 50 weight. Has anyone tried them, and what do you think?

Thanks bunches!

I have not tried them but have you tried Superior's King Tut thread? I LOVE it...I am not sure how it is in comparison to their Masterpiece though.

I will be watching this to see the replies...I really should experiment with other threads.

Masterpiece is wonderful for piecing and King Tut is for quilting - not piecing.

I guess I should have said I use King Tut for free motion quilting...that is what you are asking about using the Madeira for. But I have not compared it to their Masterpiece for weight/feel.
