I broke down and bought the $89 Brother at Wal-Mart this summer and I had no problems with it.

It was light and never gave me any hassles!

Bought an inexpensive Brother around 30 years ago and never had any problem so I just bought another at Costco and passed the old one on to DGD.

I know I posted already but I wanted to let you know that I use my brother LS-60 like a work horse. I do all my sewing and piece quilting on it. After I sandwich a quilt I pull out my other brother and quilt on it only because it is easier to move a quilt thru it. As long as you oil it and clean it on a regular basis it will last for years. If you haven't had one then please don't down it because it really is a work horse.

Hi, I have this machine and I love it, I have had it for a couple of weeks now and it works really great, I wanted to upgrade and this is was the only machine that they had at the time, so I bought it and I really love it. I am like you I can't afford one of those really expensive ones which I would love to have, so this one works great for me.

That machine on Amazon, i paid full price for it last year for one of my granddaughters. Cost me almost $500. with taxes etc. That is a fantastic buy at that price almost half off. It is a great machine does alot of what the more expensive machines do great stitches.

For $10 more you could get this one:

It comes with a walking foot, the darning foot for free motion quilting and the quilting guide. Those things would cost you a lot more than the $10 you'd pay.

I've had several Brothers machines and been pleased with all of them. They aren't high end machines but then again, they don't have a high end price tag either. The ones that I've had have sewn very well with very few problems.

WOW. I just looked at this machine. I don't know a lot about machine but if I were in the market for one, I would sure buy this one. Sounds like a lot for your money.
