Another thing that bothers me about today's quilt magazines is the quilts they show are more toward beginners & have the "city" look to them. I still like traditional done in new ways. Maybe we've seen it all by now. And like many others on here I really prefer to brouse on-line. Also agree with quiltingaddictUK bout Quilter's world. I just recently learned that you don't have to take the subscription just to get the digital.

I am glad I did not renew them. lots of advertisements and the same ones all the time.

I have to agree, they are all same....boring.

I wish there was one like Cusine they have no advertisers at all.

I have stacks and stacks of back issues of 3 different ones. I only like one these days, the rest are too repetitious. So yeah, I'm with you. I love my Quilters World E-subscription though

Bored, not so much, just overwhelmed. For a while I was taking five quilting magazines, and it just got to be too much. So, I've decided to let them all lapse - it's not as if I didn't have enough ideas already - I have enough for at least two lifetimes -and as if you folks didn't keep me revved up about some new project every time I come online. <G> Who needs magazines?

I don't take any quilting magazines anymore, and very rarely do I check them out of the library or even glance at the when at the grocery store. I have never made a project from one...it seems I get more than enough ideas at the LQS. And, it seems like the last time I leafed through one, it was mostly ads. Can't say that I miss them.

I need to agree. It's been very disappointing, especially those on the shelves right now.

It's more fun to search the internet for something new.

I used to buy them all as soon as they came out. Was looking at a couple today and thought "same old thing, nothing really grabs me" and walked away! Glad I'm not the only one feeling this way!
