yep, they have been repeats, and overruns of the same EQ established quilts for years now....Even quilter's newsletter is now full of rubbish....I would love it to go back to being a NEWSletter...full of information about the industry, shows, etc....I quit taking all but 2 and they are ending this year..finally...

really think they are running out of ideas. Been there done that type of thing...anyone else think so????

Yes, I stopped getting monthly magazines about 3 years ago.In my own extensive collection, I kept some patterns that I really liked, then brought those magazines to my Quilt Guild for others. They were informed that there may be a pattern missing from the magazine but the magazines all went to a new home that night.

...that's exactly why I am letting all my subscriptions run their course......same ole, same ole.... Glad you noted this - I thought it was just me :-)

There are too many free sites on the net, and many beautiful quilts on this site to order magazines.

Yep. When renews have come due, I have not renewed. They need to make them available online. Add quilts that are not 100"s of dollars to make. Make them fun and simple. Quilters with experinece can add or take away steps to make them theirs.

I agree. I stopped taking any magazines a couple of years ago. Just too much on the web that's free. I still like to look through them but go to my stash that's grown for years! Also check some out at the library

i agree ,that is why i have cancelled most of them

I've taken Quilter's Newsletter for years. A couple of years ago I got a notice stating they were going to publish bi-monthly instead of monthly because of popular demand. How stupid do they think we are?

I like the Australian ones also but they are pricey. I usually skim before purchasing to look for projects I might want to attempt. The local library and internet is good. Also, looking at what you have at home is sometimes surprising because you see things differently than you did years ago or maybe your tastes have changed. I used to like Quilters Newsletter but haven't really seen any thing I want to make lately.

I have Quilters World also and love it. Best thing is that when e-patterns on line has a new quilt design, it's usually in a back issue of Quilters World. If you get the magazine, you can download the e-pattern for free. Love it.
