Anyone ever order from Joann's?

I got a gift card from JoAnn Fabrics...I was thinking about placing an order rather than going to the store. I can get free shipping if I spend over $50.

I just wondered if anyone had ever ordered from them and if they got good service?

i've been purchasing bolts of batting from joannes for years- great when i can use a 40% coupon on 25 yards of batting!
i also sometimes buy bolts of muslins or fabrics for dyeing...i've never had any problems ordering from them= i never go to the store- if i need something from there it's always an on-line order

I order from them also never had any trouble got it in 2 days. You just cannot return it to the stores if u don't like it.

I have had great service from the store and online. Just remember, if you order when they have a big sale, give them some extra time to process your order.

BTW, do you get their email flyer? A lot of times they will have a coupon for a percent off your total order.

I order from Joann's all the time. I have never had an issue.

Thanks so much for the quick replies...think I will get back to shopping and see what else I can order to bring it to $50. The big rotary blades are on sale...5 pk for $27. That is the main thing I want to order.

Just now looked in my email, and can get free shipping if over $35!

I have ordered from them and have no complaints.

I order from them and have had good results. Once when I got my order, there was note telling me that the 2 yds of a fabric I ordered was the end of the bolt so they gave me the rest at no charge. Thought that was great!

I have ordered fbric from them and never had any problems. I bought my first Juki from there, about 2007 and got it quick. I have not seen any there except what they sell today.

Im at least an hour away from our JoAnn's. I learned to order on line from them, because everytime they had a sale and I drove up there for a specific item it would be gone. Now I just order on line, no problems, no disappointments and more gas in my car!

Yes - and you get to use the search function on the computer rather than wander through the store.

I buy a lot from them of all types of items...including fabric..No problems at all!

I placed my first online order with them a few days ago and got an immediate confirmation by return email of my order. But I haven't received my order yet and it's been more than two business days and no delivery notification either. Customer service told me it takes 7 to 10 business days normally for delivery and I am supposed to receive tracking information by email once the order ships. Everyone here seems to get speedy two-day delivery. I wonder if my ordering two large rolls of cotton batting has anything to do with slower processing and delivery.

I live over an hour away from a smaller version Joanne's. The store selections are minimal when I have gone in, so I shop online from them and have never had a problem. The selection is endless for all kinds of stuff and I love that I can shop on MY time!

I finally got around to ordering from Joannes...what a time I had. Ended up taking two days. I had to end up calling in the order. None of my promotional codes would work on-line. Plus I had a gift card, and that was another problem. Now I try typing in my order # and email address to track the order, and it keeps telling me my email address is required! GRRRRRRR@*$%^&** I have never been so frustrated with trying to order something as I was with this.

I ordered batting at an after Christmas sale with free shipping. Later in the day, I placed a second order. They came in huge boxes in two days, but I was charged for shipping on the second one. I sent an email and a half hour later I received an email and a credit to my account, so I have been satisfied. I prefer to touch fabric before I purchase it, if possible, but I feel comfortable ordering anything else.
