Anyone have experience with a Juki F400?

I tried one of these yesterday and it's like a sports car compared to my current machine. Comes with walking foot, quilting food, knee lever for lifting the presser foot, etc. Anyone have an thoughts, good or bad, on this type? Thank you.

I have only tried the F600 but I loved it! I thought that only the f600 came standard with the walking foot, quilting foot and extension table, which would save quite a bit of money but I could be wrong about that.

If you're talking about the 2010Q, it's fabulous. There are lots of review on it already on the board. Just do a search of the model number. What's so addictive is the knee lever and the thread cutter in the foot.

Oops, I read Juki but not the model number. Sorry about that.

I have the Juki f400 and so far I like it. I purchased it to take to my weekly sewing group. My ken more was loud and clicking clanked all night long. I now sew with a quiet machine, I have only zig zagged once, I did fmq on a small piece and it was absolutey wonderful. I also have a Juki 2010 Q which is also a good machine.

I just purchased the Juki Exceed 600 which is just one model up from the 400 and I absolutely love it. I bought the 600 as it was only $150 more and came with a lot more stitches and the quilting table and a couple of extra feet which I felt was worth the extra money. I feel that the Juki machines are excellent and you seem to get more machine for your money than with some of the other brands. I know my Juki sews rings around myh Janome 6500.

I went with the F600 for the same reasons as Shelbie. I've had mine for 2 years and still love it. But if you want the f400 go for it, it's the same great machine but with fewer accessories and stitches.

I, too, went with the F600 because of the add'l accessories. I picked a Juki because I felt it sewed much quieter than some other machines I tried and it was in my budget. I am very happy with it and use it almost daily.
