Anyone have new feedback on the Huskvarna Viking platinum 3000?
 

I just finished reading a post on the older HV long arm machine and wonder if anyone has tried the new platinum model or has bought one. My DM is a Viking Sapphire which I love, but always dreaming of a long arm someday!

The older Viking long arm, 18X8 is actually a Tin Lizzie with the Viking logos. I have this one and like it. Don't know who makes the new one, Viking or ?

All I know is I just saw an ad for this machine yesterday, went to the site and read all the information and was drooling by the time I was done. I am interested in what the price is but could not find it online. I want a long arm so badly, but right now there are more important things liking eating and keeping the lights on.

Here you go. My LQS/Viking dealer is the only one who puts thier prices of new and used on their site. You can follow the link to Viking if you want to know more but this will show you how much its going for here. Viking still makes their own machines. If you go to thier site they will tell you that and that I know at least the emb machines are all still made in Sweeden. I've got the Ruby and the Diamond Deluxe in the past two yrs and the boxes both say Sweeden plus its on the site.
