Anyone have the new HQ sit down quilter DVD on rulers?
 

I'm thinking of ordering the new Handiquilter video for sit down quilt machines dvd #3 on using rulers and templates?
If you have it, which rulers do they cover? I want to make sure I have what they use so I can work along with it. Sky I'm not finding a lot of info on it online.

There are several DVD's on using the rulers.

However, this next weekend the HQ dealers where I live are having in store demos by the HQ educators. You might want to contact a local dealer and see if they are having somthnig like this ... or call HQ and ask who your nearest dealer & educator is.

Ali there have been a few for stand up machines but this one is specifically for sit down machines.
The closest dealer I have charges A LOT for classes and you fine get a lot of hands on time since you have to share the one floor model with 5 others. I would much rather get the DVD.
I'll call hq on Monday and see if they know which rulers the instructor uses in the video. I already have a few hq rulers.

check out the You Tube vids and there was a podcast on the newest ones just recently where they showed samples made with them. All free so send the dvd price to me instead so I can get more threads lol

Have you ever found info on the HQ videos? I am thinking about getting them.....

I never got much info on the videos. I didn't find anyone who actually had the dvd to tell me which rulers they used in it. I did order it nonetheless. I'm just waiting for it to arrive. I ordered it through a friend of mine who since had a family emergency. I'm sure when she gets back I'll have the dvd and can follow up with info.

I did read a review this morning on the HQ sit down forum that Disc 1 helped her a lot. It is basic info - tension, etc and on how to properly use the stitch regulator. She said she got a lot out of it but she has a HQ. Most of that info is machine specific for that one imo but the ruler one should be good for any sit down machine.
