Anyone here a member of thequiltshow.com ?

Seems a little pricey to me, but might be worth it. Has anyone tried it? What do you think?

I wasn't thinking about it except the topic of Judy Mathieson came up in a recent thread here on the QB and I see that she is on one of the Quilt Show episodes. Unfortunately, it's an old episode and (as far as I can tell) not one of the 4 free ones to watch.

I usually watch the free shows when they come up in the spring but that is enough for me. I would rather spend my time sewing then watching others.

I am a member and enjoy it. I joined the International Miniature group and my partner is from Germany. I enjoy the shows too and as a member, you can go back and learn from all of them if you like. Anything new to quilting is usually introduced also.

I am a member. I enjoy the shows. The online member's BOM quilt pattern is worth more then the cost of membership.

I love it! Joined this year so am watching 21 seasons worth of shows. I find something valuable in every episode.

Consider there is a new show every two weeks when you evaluate the price. I have been a member for years and look forward to each new show. I have learned about a lot of topics and teachers I might never have known about otherwise.

I've been a member for years. I like having access to all the shows, including past ones. Also I've participated in a few quilt alongs they've offered.

I have been a member for 3 years and truly enjoy watching the episodes. I really like being able to go back and watch some of the older shows over and over...........I think it is a better use of my funds than purchasing quilting magazines.......

I have been a member for several years. I really enjoy the shows. I watch the Quilting Board every day and The Quilt Show every other day. Just watched the Quilt Show about Sashiko that I am knee deep in right now. Picked up several pointers. We can always learn more, can't we?

I have been a member for a long time. As a member, I enjoy being able to watch every show that they have created. They also have a great blog and many other perks. I thought that I would join for only one season, but I found that I enjoy it too much to give up.

I am in in my first year as a member but I know that I will renew when the time comes...I enjoy the shows and since I’m not a fan of television, it’s a great substitute. It’s entertaining and informative.

I have been a member for years too...and I do enjoy it...
(but if it goes up I'd have to think about it...since it's US funds and I'm in Canada ...)

one of the main features I like is the yearly BOM...the patterns are worth a lot more than the price of subscribing...it's where I was introduced to Sue Garman whom I adore...and have made her patterns Stars for a New Day, Hugs and Kisses, and now working on Ruffled Roses...(I'm a little slow)...I have been saving Halo Medalion and will do that next..

I also like the shows every two weeks and some I do rewatch too..I love Ricky Tims...seems like a good soul...the segments are easy to watch on my iPad when I am relaxing...

I am now convinced. Thanks, everyone, for enabling me! :D

One thing I am wondering is if I would be able to stream the show so I could watch on the tv. I don't really enjoy sitting at my desk to watch on my desktop computer, and the screen on my iPad is a little small. If anyone knows how I could stream from my iPad to the tv, please post!

Edit: We have a Roku, if that is of any use.

Thanks for asking this Prism99. I was also wondering about it. I do get the free email & just wasn't sure about signing up. Maybe I'll try it for a year & go from there. Thanks to all that responded.

I've been a member for several years. Enjoy all the lessons, beautiful quilts. Enjoy Alex and Tim. I also enjoy the puzzles, and spend too much time on them, but love doing puzzles. They have great guests, always learn something.

I enjoy watching The Quilt Show on my TV from my computer. Hubby plugs into my computer with an HDMI cable and then into the TV. If you don't get a picture, check the TV menu for HDMI input and try the different input choices. For more details, check with a teenager---they know computers and TVs at birth! I hope you have someone that is at least a little techy for the details.

Does anyone know if there is a physical store in Livermore, CA. If so, I am only about 2 hours away, and would consider visiting the shop.
