I just bought the newest "Better Homes and Gardens: Quilt Sampler" and there is a picture of a quilt that I LOVE! I cannot find the name of the quilt anywhere, including on the website for the store. There is no e-mail address for the quilt store and I am not calling long distance unless I have exhausted all other avenues. Help!

(It is the baby quilt with the crawling babies.)

Sorry. No idea.

I just caved... I called the shop. It is in a book. Now to track down the book!

Pieced Potpourri - by Janet Selek.

I am hoping to find it locally. I will order it on-line if I don't, but I would prefer to support my LQS first. I wonder if they could look it up for me instead of having to drive down to the store? Hmmm.

That quilt is adorable!!! Thank you for sharing where the pattern is located :D:D:D

I called all my LQS to no avail. I guess I will have to order it. The book is $19.00 on-line.

Could it be that they put them in magazines before the books are released to stores? If you wait a bit the stores may get them in, you could check Barnes & Noble or Borders Book Stores, they may get them 1st.

Don't forget to try your local library.
Mine is loaded with all kinds of quilt books.

I have that pattern in a booklet. It isn't exactly like that, I don't remember the big square in the middle, but the babies are identical. They are appliqued all around the border and as cute as can be.

I found it! At least I found the Baby Sue pattern. It's in a book called Generations by Janet Selck published by Scraps of Time. Here is a picture of the book and the pattern. I've done a search for it and it looks like it is still selling for around $18. Maybe you and I can arrange a swap. Let me know what I can do to help you.

You ladies are so clever I would never think to call the store.
