Anyone in Northern California Find the new Bounce Spray??
I am just outside Sacramento and haven't been able to find the new Bounce spray starch alternative. I have been using Best Press but would love to try this as it seems less expensive (the Downy wrinkle spray at my Target was $6.99 which seems expensive but still less than Best Press).

I am from Southern CA and I have not been able to find any here!

I heard that is only at Walmart and that is where I found mine when I heard that

I found mine in Walmart for about $4? It is called Bounce ironing spray and mine had a $ off coupon on it. I am surprised you are having trouble finding it in the US if I can find it in Canada.

I went to 2 Walmart"s here in Maryland and they didn't have any either...

I just buy $1 starch at the dollar tree or Walmart and find no need for fancy stuff.

I've found that most times if I go to the store manager, or at least the customer service manager and request that they stock an item, they are pretty willing to do so. Maybe if you request that your stock the item they will comply. That being said, I went to town this morning (almost a 40 mile round trip from my little cabin in the woods) and TOTALLY FORGOT to look for the bounce spray. AAARRRRGGGHHHHH.

I asked Walmart dept. manager to order me a case of it when it was at the introductory store price. I have enough to last for several years and saving half the price it sells for now and in the future it may be double the price. Get to know your Walmart dept managers, they are very helpful.

That's funny thinking a $4 bottle of starch could be considered fancy stuff.

I was looking at the Walmart today and they did not have it. I live in the San Diego area. Wish I could find it.

Keep looking! It took me quite some time before it showed up on the shelves at Walmart. Haven't found it at Target yet, or anywhere else. Yes, it works well, I like it, although I do like Mary Ellen's even better! I just dilute ME to make it last longer, works well.

I have the Best Press in several scents. I didn't know it would still be good by diluting so I'm going to try that to lessen the scent that I don't care for. Thanks for the tip.

Not everybody wants to use starch. Even if it was free I'd rather not use starch. The Bounce spray may be a cheaper alternative to Mary Ellen Best Press if it works as well. |

When my first child was born we lived in southern CA. Johnson and Johnson made the best disposable diapers I've ever used and we moved to AR and that brand was no where to be found or in surrounding states. I guess some products are only introduced to some areas.

Here is a phone number you can use to contact them...1-800-435-6223. They also gave me their website. http://www.amazinghomeproducts.com/index.cfm

OK - I guess I missed the reason for using the Bounce Ironing Spray. If it is because it doesn't have any rice products in it (Starch does), I have been using Niagara Non-Aerosol Spray Starch which doesn't have any rice products in it (which can attract bugs), I checked with the manufacturer to be sure. I really like it so far and I have been able to find it for about $2.50 bottle. If it is because of the flakiness, this has less of that. The reason for the flakiness in using starch seems to be that we are impatient, if you wait and let the starch (any kind) soak in you don't seem to get this.
