Anyone Speak EQ?

I have a question about something that is a puzzle for me. When in PatchDraw using Poly Arc Tool sometimes my line turns from blue to yellow. I have no idea what is causing this or if I am doing something right or wrong. I have tried to find an answer with help menu and the program book but not finding anything. Any suggestions???

Someone told me recently to try contacting the EQ company directly. They should be able to answer any questions.

I have EQ7 but no help from me....I have never figured out how to even use that poly arc tool!

I have had EQ since '95 but I never really have used the arc tool. Don't hesitate to contact tech support. Their e-mail address should be in your Cookbook.

I was hoping to find an active forum where a few people were willing to exchange information without doing email and or going direct to EQ. Sorry!

EQ has exactly what you're looking for - an active forum where people are willing to exchange information without doing email. I have posted questions there many times and have always received an answer in less than 24 hours.

Sometimes it's best to go to the source, kind of like if you have a teacher in a class, why would you ask another student? The ones who know the program the best are the ones who wrote and work in the programs every day. I met the gentleman who designed EQ at the 2013 International Festival of Quilts in Houston, Tx. I told him of several things that confused me. His first comment was "Why didn't you call our techs? That's why we have them and why we pay them. We want everyone to understand and use EQ to it's full potential." Since that day, I have no problem in picking up the phone and calling the 800 number. Those folks are really good. Sometimes, they have to say the answer several different ways for me to understand them. But I am getting better.
