Never heard of it

I belonged for a year and did not like it at all. They tout about the magazine and how you get it early. Most of the time it was on the newsstand 2 or 3 weeks before I received it.Also the free patterns were from the fabric manufacters, which except for a very few are available for free. The 1 thing I really didn`t like was there is a clique on there and if they don`t like you, then you are out.The 1 good thing was being able to watch Quilt Out Loud. There were some nice people on there, but I felt I didn`t get my money`s worth.
I love this site so much more. |
Yes, I do .... and I like it.
There are several different series of videos ... some of them seems to have been made in the 80's (judging by the hairstyles and dress-code), but I do not mind, because I did not know anything when I started quilting 2 yrs ago, and with no teachers around, I learned a lot from them! |

... QNN TV is available on its own, and right now it's half price - $12/year. I think it's a fantastic value to be able to have access to years and years of quilt shows, including newly produced shows. I bring my laptop to my quilting studio and watch as I'm sewing.

I got this from Keepsake Quilting via my email today. They show the 1/2 price special and give you the coupon code.

I believe this may be the link.... When you checkout enter KQDEC11 that should change the price to $12 for one year. |
Thanks for reminding me about the site. I joined last spring and watched the videos while sewing. I forgot to check to see the new ones. It's well worth $24 a year.
I didn't care for the Quilter's Club at all. Nothing was ever updated on the site. |
Has anyone heard of QuiltersTV? It is free and has many of the past shows/series of name quilters.
Here is the link: http://quilterstv.com/channel/video/134 |
yngldy- thank you so much! bookmarked it!

Keepsake Quilting has the 1/2 off Code but they are having huge issues and asked to subscribe later today (wed 1/4) KodeC11

I remember when it was free. Then Fons and Porter bought it and now it costs.
It is a great site for learning to quilt and has so many videos it takes a long time to see them all. So it is worth it for beginners. It is the way I learned to quilt. Quilterstv is a great site but it started having problems and got impossible to watch. Will have to check it out again and see if it is again watchable. http://quiltinaday.com has lots of free videos in the television/video section. |
KODEC11 is the coupon code for the half price offer. According to my email they extended the promotion so hopefully this works.
