Anyone Use the Clover Bias Tape Maker?
I've been thinking about starting a Baltimore Album qpplique quilt and notice that a lot of patterns have bias stems. I have a Clover Bias Tape Maker that I won at a guild meeting. Do they work? Are they easy to use? Worth the time and effort?
Thanks for your input! Anita |
I use mine often- would be lost without it- in fact have one in about 6 different sizes- takes a minute to get the hang of it- but then it's pretty easy. just read the instructions.

I just bought one for stems on a class project and it works great. Just make sure your fabric strip is seams-side down as you pull it through and iron the sticky tape to it.

Since you have one you should give it a try with some scrap bias strips so you can find out if you like it. I have all sizes and like them a lot

yes, loved it!

i don't use mine often, but when i want folded bias tape, it's indispensable

Yes, use mine all the time . I have 5 different sizes. they are sooo. easy just cut your bias the
desired width ,cut end on slant and feed through, I also spray starch my bias before feeding and ironing. |
I have the older version, where there is no slot for a fusible which is fine by me. I just pin with little appliqué pins or use glue to place it.

I have all the sizes too. The thing is they do work great and when you need bias tape they are the perfect way to make them.

Very easy and useful
