great! it is also terrific way to use your fancy stitches to sew them down!

I like how the circle will not fray doing it the way Eleanor does it. I would never have thought of that....sew the circle to the fusible and then turn them inside out, iron and sew.

I actually find that it is an easy pattern to sew by hand. I have the template from Missouri Star Quilt Company.

Missouri Star Quilt had a video that showed how to do them. I made one and it was really easy.
I watched the video twice and went to it. I have the apple core templates from MSC in 3 or 4 different sizes. Evelyn in Sequim |

I got the Sissix die. It is not super hard to sew together but it is slow go. I did a wall hanging and after that experience I would probably not make one much larger then 50x60.

I started an apple core quilt and it became a nightmare so I passed it on to my mother who I'm pretty sure has lost it! Not going to make another one in this life time! Sorry but they are not easy to put together!

The ladies at the store are all excited about sewing curves with the "Curve Master Foot." I bet it would work great for the Apple Core.
