Thank you for your help, Marilee

I've used Big Dreams Embroidery and Embroidery Library.

Most of my children appliques I go to Coloring Pages. You can also you Microsoft Word and make your own to whatever size you need. I've done that a lot too.

Are you looking for hand embroidery applique or machine.

I want to trace letters onto fabric & cut them out to applique. I would like an alphabet 3 to 4 inches in size.

Thank you kindly, Marilee

You might look at an office, or teacher's store. Usually there are lots of letters in different fonts because teachers use them on bulletin boards. Just a thought.

Try Google and type 'Alphabet Coloring Pages' - a few will come up, including Fisher Price. Also do the same in Google Images here

If you check out my avatar, the letters on it were trace from a packet of cut-out alphabet letters that I purchased from Wal-mart or Dollar Tree or other Dollar Store! Found them! They are ArtSkills brand. Numbers included and have peel and stick backs, which I did not use. Also have large die-cut shapes package. Check out childrens section for art or poster sections or teacher sections for some neat ideas on applique shapes. Also have a big collection of the giant and regular coloring books for sources!

The dollar store has punch-out alphabets for schools, would work as templates.

I have gotten different sizes at the office supply store ....they have come in handy over the years.

Michael's also has a large variety of alphabet letters cut from card stock that you can use to trace around.
