I want to do some applique letters and am thinking I will use fusible and do a raw edge technique. The question is....is there a good website where I can get stencils for lettering? Is there a die for Accuquilt? Can you put the fusible on fabric and then run through the Accuquilt?

Google them...I found tons a while ago...then you can enlarge or shrink on photocopy machine...

There is an alphabet set for Accuquilt but they are pricey, over 100.00, I think. Try googling color pages alphabet.

Yes, there are several alphabet dies for the Accuquilt Studio. Yes, you can put fusible on then cut with the Accuquilt. If you aren't going to use them often, you may want to get stencils from a teachers' store and cut them by hand. I have also had good luck cutting letters with my Cricut. That way I can cut any size, font, shape etc.

You have fonts on your computer. Open your word processing program, pick a font, print it big. Flip it over and trace it on the fusible. Fuse to fabric.

I just use my word processor and play with the different fonts and sizes until I find one that suits my needs. I then print out the unique letters and trace onto the fusible web.

When my son was learning to read at about age 3, I went to a stationary store and got some large letters for teachers. Made of cardboard, very sturdy. Used them to print out the alphabet and all the letters always found together...QU..TH..OO, etc and marked them on 2 inch wood. DH and I cut them out and son "helped" decorate them after we had used non-toxic paint on them.
I found several sizes of these, up to about 6 inches or so tall. These could be used to mark fabric, and/or the fusible ironed to that fabric. They can be turned easily on back for marking on the fusible.

Do not forget to trace your letters mirrored on the fusible or you will have them reading wron on the front. (In case you didn't already know)
