These are my product reviews for these products that I tried today.

Aqua Net hairspray for basting spray.

It worked just okay for me. It was better than the fusible batting, and definitely cheaper. :-) I sprayed, then added the layers, then ironed. It did hold, but I added about 6 pins to keep it together. Worked just fine for a small project.

Microstitch Basting Gun by Avery Dennison
I purchased this from overstock.com and it is fantastic. These are the tiniest tags I have ever, ever seen. Much smaller than a pin head. This is the one to buy!

Pinking rotary blade
Why didn't I buy this before? I have loads of rotary cutters, and I finally bought this blade (for half off). It has taken much work out of working with flannel.

So, 2 1/2 stars out of 3 for the combined products.
What have you been using lately? What do you think?

The Clover soft touch thread pick works great to hide threads or pull out stray threads you see after quilting. How does a red thread always get inside the quilt layer and show up on the only white patch on the quilt? Worth having if you only have to use it once. It took me forever to find the Clover thread dome I could check out before ordering online. I did find it and it's well made and works great. It keeps threaded needles with no thread tangles. Get one, you will love it when hand sewing the binding on that next quilt.

I give both items 3 stars out of 3.
