If that is the pattern you were looking for, I have made it and it's a great pattern. I made mine with scraps and gave it to my niece who plans a yearly trip for a group of us. Thought it was a fitting pattern.

I did a queen sized quilt and sewed the top in quarters then sewed the quarters together. It went together great and even, and was a lot easier to handle than doing it in rows.

It's so disturbing when you want something and you wind up with a bunch of junk mail as a result. I bought something from Annie's and either they have a whole lot of subsidiaries or they sell your information. I have tried to unsubscribe but this is not included in the emails. So annoying!!

I have made so many of these and never used a pattern. It's just squares. When my DH was alive and did the sewing, he would figure out the maximum number in a "diamond" and then I would lay the squares out on the floor, piles of 1, 4, 8, 12, etc. up to the maximum and then back down, ending in 12, 8, 4. And he had a way of picking them up so he would sew them together the right way. He was a math genius.

The nice thing about these is they are so simple to do and come out looking fabulous. I always recommend this pattern to beginners.

Eleanor Burns has one for sale (I got mine second hand, at www.alibris.com for not much) but hers has eliminated all matching of points. Worked beautifully for me. If you like this pattern, it might be worth purchasing a copy.

This is one of hers....

Note that the seams do not match up.

I think it is called "Trip Around the World". Try that in your search. They are fun to make. I just finished two Trip Around the World lap quilts with scraps that were headed for the land fill. The squares were already cut so a few hours and they were put together.
